The opportunity
Join a Cairo-based team dedicated to a UK business. Work closely with its product and engineering colleagues on production software, with Macber providing the delivery environment and management support. The assignment, stack and product are confirmed for each approved requisition.
What you will do
- Own complex features from technical design through deployment and support.
- Develop services, integrations and user-facing functionality as the account requires.
- Review code and strengthen testing, reliability and engineering practice.
- Communicate progress, trade-offs and risks directly with the client team.
- Help turn product priorities into realistic delivery plans.
What you bring
- Strong record of delivering and maintaining production applications.
- Depth in a relevant backend or full-stack ecosystem and sound database/API design.
- Experience with automated tests, code review and production incidents.
- Clear English and effective collaboration across organisations.
- Comfort taking responsibility within a distributed team.
