This Privacy Policy explains how Macber handles personal information when you visit www.macber.co, contact us, or submit an expression of interest for a role. Macber operates across enterprise technology, real estate and hospitality, and exhibitions.

This website is an informational site. The Contact page accepts enquiries so that the Macber team can respond. The Careers page accepts expressions of interest and CV uploads.

Information you provide

Depending on how you use the site, you may provide your name, email address, organisation, area of interest, enquiry message, professional profile or portfolio URL, a statement about your experience, and a CV or résumé.

Please do not include sensitive personal information that is not relevant to your enquiry or application. We may remove or decline information that is clearly unrelated, harmful, or unlawful.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting and security systems may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, and the date and time of a request. We use this information to deliver the site, protect it from abuse, diagnose faults, and maintain reliable operation.

Careers submissions and CVs

A Careers submission is validated and checked for abuse before it is delivered to the Macber careers team. The uploaded CV is held in server memory for that processing and delivery step. It is not written to the application database.

After successful email delivery, the application stores the form information needed to manage the expression of interest. It does not store the CV file in that database. If email delivery fails, the application does not create the submission record.

The email delivery provider may process and retain the message and attachment according to its own service terms and privacy documentation. We limit access to recruitment information to people and providers who need it for the relevant purpose.

Legal bases and sharing

Where UK or European data protection law applies, we rely on the legal basis that fits the activity. This may include taking steps at your request, our legitimate interests in operating the business and website, your consent where consent is required, and compliance with a legal obligation.
